Besides the hatch unit and ladder, you will also receive an operating pole, a pair of feet to fit on the bottom of the ladder and a set of architrave (1300mm model only). The only thing you need to purchase separately are the screws to fit the loft ladder in to the loft.

Yes, this is possible. It is painted white as standard and does have a melamine finish so you may need to sand down the surface of the door beforehand.
